Welcome to the Truth and Mystery Conference reading group website.

On April 12th, 2012 the Theology Institute at Villanova University will sponsor a conference entitled “Truth and Mystery: A Conference on Faith and Reason.” This conference, meant to foster collaboration between the Philosophy and Theology departments, will feature William Desmond, Jean-Luc Marion, and Amy Hollywood.

One of the major aims of this conference is to lay the foundation for a new, vibrant, interdisciplinary community of philosophy and theology graduate students at Villanova. With this goal in mind, faculty members and interested graduate students are meeting three times in advance of the conference to read and discuss the work of our guests.

This website is designed to be of service to the Truth and Mystery Reading Group. To learn more about the group, please visit the Reading Group page.

Please note: if you are a Villanova student or faculty member, and would like to participate in the morning colloquium session, you need to register for the conference. Registration is free. Under “Institution” indicate “Villanova University”. This will allow you to participate in the colloquium.

(This website is intended primarily as a resource for the Truth and Mystery graduate student reading group.
